Delivery & packaging information

Due to our environmental ethos, we only deliver within Australia - we do NOT ship internationally.

Dispatch times 

Life Wild works to maximise efficiency and minimise our carbon footprint, so the product(s) you order may ship directly from Life Wild HQ or directly from the manufacturer. Each product will share where it's shipping from. 

When in stock, we will have it on its way to you within 1 - 3 business days. If pre-ordering and you'd like to know when to expect your treasures, please email us.

Values-aligned delivery packaging

When shipping directly from Life Wild, you can choose the ultimate in environmentally friendly packaging and your items will be packed in surplus boxes we've collected from local businesses, before they use more energy and resources by going to the recycling centre, or take up space in landfill. 

Or for something a little more (aesthetically) beautiful, smaller parcels have the option to be sent using our post-consumer recycled cardboard boxes or satchels instead. 

If we don't happen to have the right size box or packaging to efficiently reuse for your package, we'll package it in our post-consumer recycled paper/cardboard packaging instead. It's your choice at checkout.

When shipping direct from our manufacturers, your packaging will be primarily recyclable and/or biodegradable.

In the absence of anything more environmentally friendly, we're using 'Biodegradable' Cellulose Tape to secure our products and parcels, which means you can pull off the tape and add it to your compost, and everything else in your parcel will either be 100% recyclable or compostable too.

In the rare event where your order may break in transit, we may reuse bubble wrap that we have unintentionally received in packaging from another business. This bubble wrap may be the biodegradable kind but it may be the non-biodegradable kind too - if it is clear it is likely the non-biodegradable kind and can be reused or recycled where soft plastics can be dropped off - see here for where you can recycle it: www.redcycle.net.au.

Shipping methods, times & rates

We’re very conscious of providing reliable and efficient shipping options that aim to be affordable, seamless and hassle-free for you. We ship from our HQ in Lennox Head (near Byron Bay), NSW, Australia, and we primarily use carbon neutral couriers, Sendle, to ship all orders. Sendle is a door-to-door road-based courier service that is a registered B Corp and Australia's first carbon neutral delivery service partnering with Climate Friendly.

We may also ship your parcel via Australia Post if it is more efficient to do so, and if a Broom is destined for your home, we will ship it through Australian company Couriers Please. 

Please note that while we want to service all of our beautiful Great Southern Land, some regional and remote areas can be cost prohibitive for us when shipping larger parcels. If your area is not serviced by Sendle, or your order includes large or bulky wares, we may need to charge an additional postage fee to help us get it to you - please reach out if this is you so we can make it as efficient and easy as possible to share the love: email us.

Shipping is complimentary on orders over $200*, unless costs are prohibitive due to your remote address, and it will be packaged in either our surplus boxes, or in our 'new' post-consumer recycled packaging. This offer excludes some bulky goods like our Brooms, Self-Watering Planter Boxes and Tiny Homes, and on occasion where your delivery address is regional or remote, but we'll do our best! Get in contact with us first if any questions.

We also offer free pick-up from our HQ in Lennox Head, NSW, between 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays) for all orders which are dispatched directly from Life Wild (each product will share information on where it is being shipped from). You can choose this option at Checkout and we'll notify you when it's ready for collection.

Our shipping rates for orders under $200 are based on weight below:

Minimal (0 - 2kgs, or equivalent) ~ $9.95 (or $10.95 for 'new' post-consumer recycled boxes)

Moderate (2kgs - 10kgs, or equivalent) ~ $15.95 (or $17.95 for 'new' post-consumer recycled boxes)

Heavy or Bulky (10kgs - 20kgs, or equivalent) ~ $20.95 (or $23.95 for 'new' post-consumer recycled boxes)

Heavy or Bulky (20kgs - 25kgs, or equivalent) ~ $34.95

Heavy or Bulky (25kgs - 30kgs, or equivalent) ~ $39.95

Heavy or Bulky (30kgs - 40kgs, or equivalent) ~ $45.95

Heavy or Bulky (40kgs - 50kgs, or equivalent) ~ $49.95

These are national shipping rates but if your delivery address is regional or remote, we may contact you to work out the best way to ship to you, and revise the cost estimate. 

Generally from the date of dispatch or pick-up, you can expect to receive your parcel within 2-5 business days, but this may take a little longer in the case of long distances, regional and remote areas. We don’t currently offer an express or guaranteed next business day delivery service but if you need things quickly, please get in touch with us directly and we will see what we can do: email us.

You will receive tracking information in your order dispatch confirmation which will keep you updated as your parcel moves along. You will also be able to choose to receive your parcel at your delivery address or to have your parcel re-directed to a local collection point.

Please note that due to the nature of the delivery system and the size of our Great Southern Land, sometimes delays in delivery can occur. Deliveries interstate can mean that parcels aren't scanned for a few days. If you haven’t received word about your parcel's delivery within 5 business days and it’s not clear where it is on its journey, please get in touch with us to sort this out: hello@lifewild.com.au.


Where are your products made?

Life Wild’s range includes Wild Search Australia, Life Wild and Life Wild Elements products, as well as products sourced from values-aligned Australian businesses and makers.

The Wild Search Australia, Life Wild and Life Wild Elements products are all designed and made in Australia from Australian materials, between Lennox Head in Northern NSW and the beautiful Moreton Bay area of QLD.

Other products are made in Australia and in various locations globally, and each product description will shed light on each’s origin.

Are your products made ethically?

Yes, we believe so. It’s a base requirement for us, and one which is captured inherently within our Core Values. Every maker has confirmed they share our Core Values and answered further questions via our Alignment Questionnaire - see what we ask here: bit.ly/LifeWildAlignment.

While some of our makers set the standards with their incredible ethics and commitment to sustainability, not every maker may operate from factories with ethical certifications, but they have satisfied themselves that the factories are operated responsibly.

While we would ideally love to be ticking every box possible in terms of ethical manufacturing certifications, we acknowledge that we can’t all be certified perfect by the perfect certifying body (and from the vast array of bodies that exist) and we are intending to strive for a balance. We won’t get everything right all the time, and neither will our suppliers, but our intentions are clear and we clearly do intend to operate in an end-to-end ethical way.

And while we have asked these questions, and more at times, we haven’t verified the information we have received, choosing to trust in the information we have been given. We will always try to give you the information that you need to make an informed decision.

Why are some of your products not in stock/available for pre-order?

We’re trying to do things differently. We believe in slow, conscious buying, because all our products are built to last, and we believe they should last you a long time. We don’t want you to have to buy the same thing again and again from us (unless of course, you accidently drop your reusable cup and need to replace it, or you want to share the love by buying gifts for your friends and family, and then woo hoo, we would love to help you!).

Consistent with this, we don’t want to have an unnecessarily large operating footprint when we could be more efficient and meet your needs as and when they arrive. So hence we are trying to maximise efficiency to minimise our footprint, consistent with our Manifesto.

What is your returns policy?

Consistent with the above, we've taken great care in making and gathering our makers to offer our range, but we understand that occasionally things don't turn out quite like we all would have hoped.

It’s part of our values to be increasingly aware of our impact, and with this comes consuming more consciously ~ we would be ever so grateful if you could also consider this when selecting the elements you'd like to add to your life. We don’t want to be a fast buy and return store – we are all for enhancing your ability to live the lifestyle that you really want to, but we don’t want to be destroying all the good we are trying to create through a high return rate, and everything associated with that. Of course, if it is faulty, or if there is something not quite right with it, we would welcome your exchange or return.

Unless terms are specifically stated on any product page, our Returns Policy lasts for a total of 14 days from dispatch of your order. After this time we will be unable to accept returns, unless the item is faulty.

If your item arrived in a damaged or faulty state, please notify us within 24 hours upon receipt of the product so that we can work with you to find a solution.

To be eligible for an exchange or return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be returned in the original packaging and be received by us or our suppliers in a re-sellable state (if it is not faulty).

Please also note that any related shipping costs are at the cost of the customer, except if the item is found to be faulty.

If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, we would love to offer you a credit note equivalent to the purchase price to spend at Life Wild within 6 months. The value of the credit note will not include the original shipping costs of your returned item.
