The best? We love EarthStor's values and ethics and how they've created this kind, safe and sustainable Bento box for you and the whole family. It's also zero waste at the end of its life too - the best.

  • Made by Australian company, EarthStor, responsibly and sustainably in South East China. EarthStor was established with the mission to make the world's best lunchbox, which would be one that is - using their definition - beautiful, free of chemicals and heavy metals, and sustainable, and we have to say we think they're there already.

EarthStor harvest Organic Bamboo sustainably, where Bamboo is 70% wood and 30% flax fibre. The flax is not used in industries like chopsticks and toothbrush manufacturing, and due to the sheer size of the waste, it cannot be efficiently composted and is usually incinerated. EarthStor currently use factories that allow them to purchase the waste byproduct Bamboo flax fibre to make the base, diverting it from being incinerated, which is brilliant. It's then mixed with Bamboo wood chips and bound with plant derived adhesives of Cassava Root and Aloe to make your beautiful Bamboo Bento box.

  • 20cm long x 11cm wide x 6cm deep.

750ml in capacity (1000ml if pushed tight).

  • Your EarthStor Bamboo Bento is microwave-safe for 1 minute at a time (maximum) without the lid attached.

    It's also airtight and freezer-safe.

Suitable for hand wash only (please don't put in the dishwasher).

  • Your EarthStor Reusable Bamboo Bento comes to you in a recycled plain cardboard box which can be reused, recycled or composted. It should have a very long life but when it's finally done, please first remove the Silicone band and seal, and then the bamboo base and lid can be composted in your home compost, or alternatively if you don't have one, you can check with you local council to see if it can go in your green waste bin.

We're delighted to share that we've recently confirmed the ability to recycle  Silicone rubber with Terracycle. We would love you to send your band and seal back to us (and any other Silicone rubber, or wares on our Wild Reuse, Remake & Recycle list) and to say thank you we'll send you a discount code for 10% off your next Life Wild purchase: Life Wild RRR Program, The Kollective Mullum, 2/116 Stuart St, Mullumbimby NSW 2482.

  • This product ships directly from Life Wild. When in stock, we will have it on its way to you within 1 - 2 business days. If pre-ordering and you'd like to know when to expect your bounty, please email us.

Choose the ultimate in environmentally friendly packaging and your items will be packed in surplus boxes we've collected from local businesses, before they use more energy and resources by going to the recycling plant, or take up space in landfill.

Or for something a little more beautiful, go for our post-consumer recycled box instead. It's your choice at checkout.
