Comb the brush to remove excess hairs, or wash it to remove accumulated oils and dirt and hang in the sun to dry.

Once your brush has reached the end of its life, add it to your compost (you can cut up the handle to speed up the process if you like). Once the bristles have broken down, you can sift out the wire and recycle it too.
