Due to the unique fabric and handmade nature of the set, the spork will be beautiful, shapely and uniquely in the shade of wood it's been carved from, and the shade(s) of denim you receive could also vary from that pictured.
The cutlery is made from Red Cedar, from a tree which fell during a storm near Maleny in South East Queensland - it's divine. We have further stock of Red Cedar from off-cuts we've sourced from a local boat builder.
The napkins have been made from vintage cotton fabrics and the pouch from post-consumer denim which has all been sourced locally. The upcycled denim pouch may be dark or light, and for this reason the styles are sorted into Dark and Light denim - pick your style and shade and go with the flow, or get in touch to choose a particular set of napkins and denim.

If you're addng a straw, it's theotherstraw's shortie straws, which are 100% organic, natural and been made sustainably and ethically in Northern Vietnam.
Maybe the denim pouch has been made from your Dad's jeans? You never know. We source the denim from local charity stores, wash them and then get making. These pouches are even made from the offcuts of our Circular Denim Totes - totally ace. The only virgin material is the thread and eco-friendly lable ink (and we're working on these elements).

The pouch/placemat is approximately 23cm tall x 24cm unrolled, rolling to around 6cm in diameter in its fully rolled up position, and 17cm tall.
The cutlery is approximately 15cm tall.
The napkins average 21cm x 21cm.
The straw is approximately 10cm long and 7mm in diameter.

The cutlery has been treated with organic coconut oil, so it's food grade and safe for you. Hand wash it and the Bamboo Straw with a gentle detergent before first use and ongoing. Please don't leave the cutlery or straw immersed in water as it will negatively affect the wood. Re-apply a food grade vegetable oil as and when it may need it, to help retain its quality, longevity and smooth finish.
The pouch and napkins are machine washable on a normal cycle. The pouch has been well washed and over time the colours and label may fade, and the material may distress and fray, making it even more uniquely yours.

This Set should last you a very long time and hopefully can get handed down several times! When it's time for it to move on, you can use your cutlery for the veggie patch, firewood, or compost it. You can also compost your pouch and napkins - cut them up into smaller bits to help them breakdown quicker.
