  • Made for Australian company, Import Ants, ethically in Sri Lanka by Maximus - a company which started in 1997 to meet the need for employment in rural areas and for the conservation of the endangered Sri Lankan elephant. In areas where there is conflict between the wild elephants and farmers, the production of the paper brings the elephant into the economy of the village and directly contributes to villagers' incomes, providing sustainable employment and reducing the need to clear more land in these elephant migration corridors for subsistence farming.

This is just one story of why Import Ants is such a beautiful company with beuatiful values. Import Ants believe in the power of positive change to a more ethical and sustainable life, and are endorsed by the Fair Trade Associaton of Australia. Their products are made in accordance with the 10 Fair Trade Principles, which encompass safe and non-discriminatory work places, a living wage, and sustainable manufacturing.

  • Approximately 24 pages (48 pages double-sided) - 21cm x 13cm wide.

  • It should look after itself, and you, with a little bit of love.

  • We love Import Ants' commitment to sustainability and looking at the whole life cycle of their products and the impact they have on our world, which we share.

Once your Journal has reached the end of its life, separate it and cut it into smaller pieces to add to your compost.
