Handmade by Australian company, Beauty and the Bees, ethically in their small business factory in beautiful Tasmania. Beauty and the Bees was founded by Jill Saunders who grew up in England in a family where natural herbal remedies were part of everyday life. Jill was an adult with skin conditions and could not find a answer to these in any products off the shelf, so she decided to use her grandmother’s old remedies and make her own, with truly natural, raw food ingredients.
The Beauty and the Bees philosophy is to harvest, create and provide truly natural products, without chemicals, plastic or hype. They only test on humans, and they make everything from scratch in house from premium quality ingredients. Their products are guaranteed to be free from petrochemical mineral oil, synthetic chemicals, colours, synthetic fragrances, and irritant preservatives.
The soap bar weighs approximately 115 grams and is 10cm x 4.75cm x 2.5cm.
Given the natural, fresh nature of their products, Beauty and the Bees recommends a 12-month shelf life for products, and any creams should be kept in the fridge if not in use, to preserve their freshness.
The packaging is fully recyclable and then there should be nothing left when you're done! The ultimate zero waste wild you product.
