This product should have a very long life but when it's finally done, here's how to dispose of the three components:
Cleaning brush: made of both nylon bristles and metal. Cut the bristles end off as close to the bristles as you can and retain the metal. The end with the bristles unfortunately has to be placed into your general waste bin. Share with us any ideas to avoid this?
Straw: The metal from your brush and the straw can be added to your collection to go to a scrap metal recycler. They are likely too small to go to a scrap metal recycler individually, but retain them with other components to go when you've collected enough matter.
Pouch: the organic cotton bag can be cut up into smaller pieces and added to your compost.
