The reusable shopper tote and cutlery pouch has been made using post-consumer upcycled denim, and the pouch can double as a placemat. The cutlery has been made from naturally fallen QLD Red Cedar wood and treated with organic coconut oil, and the napkins from vintage fabrics. The perfect gift for the coolest and cutest kids.

Due to the unique fabric and handmade nature, the shade(s) of denim you receive could vary from that pictured. For this reason the tote and cutlery pouches are sorted into Dark and Light - pick your shade and go with the flow, or get in touch to choose a particular bag and pouch colour, and if you want to grab a bigger one to match.
The spork will be beautiful, shapely and uniquely in the shade of wood it's been carved from. The current batch is made from Red Cedar, from a tree which fell during a storm near Maleny in South East Queensland - it's divine. We have further stock of Red Cedar from off-cuts we've sourced from a local boat builder.
The napkins have been made from vintage cotton fabrics sourced locally.

Maybe the denim was once part of your Dad's jeans? You never know. We source the materials from local charity stores, wash them and then get making. The only virgin material is the thread and eco-friendly lable ink (and we're working on these elements).

The Tote is approximately 23cm lomg, 25.5cm tall, 3.5cm wide, and handles add approximately 10cm. Great for over your little loves' shoulder, or for them to carry by hand if they feel like it!
The pouch/placemat is approximately 23cm tall x 24cm unrolled, rolling to around 6cm in diameter in its fully rolled up position, and 17cm tall.
The cutlery is approximately 15cm tall.
The napkins average 21cm x 21cm.

The cutlery has been treated with organic coconut oil, so it's food grade and safe for you. Hand wash it with a gentle detergent before first use and ongoing. Please don't leave the cutlery immersed in water as it will negatively affect the wood. Re-apply a food grade vegetable oil as and when it may need it, to help retain its quality, longevity and smooth finish.
The tote, pouch and napkins are all machine washable on a normal cycle. The fabrics in these products have been well washed and over time the colours and labels may fade, and the material may distress and fray, making it even more unique to hand down again and again.

This set should last you a very long time and hopefully can get handed down several times! When it's time for it to move on, you can use your cutlery for the veggie patch, firewood, or compost it. You can also compost your tote, pouch and napkins - cut them up into smaller bits to help them breakdown quicker.
